This week in 6th grade drama we will be working on a small group scene about what was life for the children who were evacuated from London during the Blitz. The scene will be about life after they have been in the village for 3 months. They will finish this drama this week with scenes that examine the different perspectives of the children who live in the village , the host parents, and the children who were evacuated. Then we will do a scene 50 years in the future to see how this experience affected these characters. We will begin our dramatization of The Lion , the Witch and The Wardrobe by exploring the characters in a series of tableaus and explore the setting as the children explore the house of the professor.
