This week we will explore the prophesies in the story and create a scene that is outside of the book. The story will be presented either as a regular scene or as a narrative pantomime. We will work on tableaus and monologues in the next scene from the book.

We will continue our work with The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. This week we explore the idea of subtext. We will also look at how theatre can manipulate time through the use of flashbacks and flashing forward.
This week we finished our drama with a scene 50 years after the evacuation. We explored how such an event might effect these characters lives as adults. We started The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. We worked on creating physical characters.
This week we completed our drama about the evacuation of children during the Blitz. Students created characters that were evacuated with scenes that showed what it would be like to live in a small village. They also discussed the difficulties and success of such a difficult time.
This week in drama we began a process drama about the evacuation of children from London during the Blitz. The students began to explore what it would be like to make the difficult decision to send a child away from home.
