This week we will continue our examination of The Face of Emmett Till . We will look at the style of the first scene and create our own scenes around the question of voting and social justice . We will present a scene that moves away from realism. We will explore activism in the second scene of The Face of Emmett Till and create an original two person scene around youth activism today and yesterday. This is our last week of drama.

This week we will finish Midsummer NIght's dream by looking at the themes of the play and Pucks final monologue. We will begin a new unit on Black and Asian playwrights that explores identity and protest movements.
This week we will be finishing up Midsummer Night's Dream and we will start a new short unit on "identity" exploring the play "Lost in China Town".
We worked on the verbal comedy of Shakespeare's Midsummer night's dream. We explored Shakespeare's insults. We looked at the idea of physical comedy and began to explore how to do it on Zoom.
