This week in 6th grade drama most classes were creating an original scene using a structure that had exposition, conflict , climax and resolution which explained about the origins of Narnia. Some classes also created scenes that looked at the backstory of some of the characters.

This week in 6th grade drama we worked on a playwriting assignment where we wrote letters (monologues) as our characters. We also created a color rendering of a set design. We went back to scene work,. Some classes were still creating flash back scenes and some classes created an original scene using a structure that had exposition, conflict , climax and resolution.
This week in 6th grade drama we worked on a scene In The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe where we explored the character's subtext (thoughts) using a game called "Voices in the Head." We created a scene that contained a flashback that had exposition, conflict, climax and resolution.
This week in 6th grade drama we will work on the first and second scene in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. We will explore the idea of interpretive action. We will work on character detail . We will explore how drama uses subtext to understand characters. This week we will also have a lesson from the Black Lives Matter curriculum on Friday,
